A BOCADOS

«A bocados» is a cooking and nutrition program presented by Ander and Gabriela. As they cook, they share tips and nutrition advice while also visiting restaurants and bars to showcase the culinary culture of the Basque Country. Our studio, Kitxune, developed the graphics for the first season and, following its success, we did it again for the fifth season. However, we wanted to take it to the next level with more color and energy. To achieve this, we hand-drew the entire storyboard and created all the styleframes in Photoshop.

The concept for this project was to create an opening sequence that was both fun and colorful, with the main characters being small humans and the kitchen and ingredients being portrayed as enormous. The aim was to convey a sense of playfulness and excitement, while also promoting healthy and delicious cooking.

We then brought it all to life using After Effects and completed the animation of this fantastic piece that we are proud of as a studio. It can still be seen on the ETB2 television channel every afternoon.

We achieved this by using vibrant colors and dynamic animations, bringing the characters and the environment to life. The end result was a visually stunning piece that captured the attention of the audience, leaving them eager to try out the healthy and tasty recipes featured in the program. Overall, this project was a great success and we are proud to have been a part of it.
